Kanawha Scales & Systems Acquires Velcon Filling Systems, Expanding Capabilities in Liquid Filling Solutions

Charleston, WV – August 1, 2025 – Kanawha Scales & Systems (KSS), a leader in industrial weighing and automation solutions, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Velcon Filling Systems, a trusted name in liquid filling systems for drums, pails, totes, and IBCs.

This strategic acquisition strengthens KSS’ position in the manufacturing and material handling sectors by integrating Velcon’s industry-leading technology with KSS’ weighing expertise, robust automation, service, and support infrastructure.

Going forward, KSS’ drum filling systems will go to market as Velcon Filling Systems. Customers of both companies can expect a seamless transition, with expanded access to technical support, engineering services, and innovative technologies that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety.

Velcon will debut its refreshed identity and demo the company’s popular portable pail filling machine at PackExpo 2025 September 29 through October 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
